WINNER ZEUS series of 2Volts Gel type valve regulated lead acid single cells with performance characteristics to meet and exceed OPzV specification according to IEC 60896 standard.

WINNER ZEUS offers stronger constant power discharge capability with better charge reception. They are maintenance-free, leak proof and usable in any position. The cells have strong ability to recover from deep discharging. After deep discharging, the battery can recover 95% of the rated capacity within 12 hours. Electrolyte contains fumed silica in a gel structure, there is no flow, no leakage or no graduation of acid liquidation. PVC-SiO2 separator is used for the optimum performance and it is special for Gel batteries. The ABS case is especially manufactured to meet the highest DIN Standard requirement and the resin used to seal the battery is especially made for Gel technology. The gas recombination rate exceeds 99%.

Cells are tested according to international standard IEC 60896-21 and compliant to defined requirements of IEC 60896-22, conform to the DIN standard 40742 (valve regulated OPzV single cells), classified as “long life” according to the EUROBAT guide 1999, protected against deep discharge according to DIN 43539 Part 5 and have low ventilation requirement according to EN 50272-2.

Suitable for stand by to renewable conventional, nuclear energy power stations, various communication and signal systems such as telecommunication, mobile network, railway and airport with high environmental protection and energy-savings.

WINNER ZEUS Series is highly recommended for applications which require very high degree of deep cycling during the service. It covers all required capacities from 200 Ah to 3000 Ah /C10.

Positive plates: Tubular design is adopted, which can effectively prevent active material falling and special spinal construction which is moulded by an antimony free alloy with tiny and very dense crystal particles. The corrosion resistance is excellent and the service life is long.

Negative plates: Pasted type in grid radial structure with high utilization ratio of active substance. The discharge capability of high currents and charge reception are excellent.

Electrolyte: Primary material adopts gas silicon dioxide in Gel state without flowing. When it is injected, the material initially is thin collosol, filling in this way the whole plate space of the cell. When it is in high temperature and over-charged, the specific heat capacity is big, heat elimination is fine due to good ventilation and therefore thermal runaway is avoided. Extra electrolyte quantity eliminates shortage inside the battery under high temperature and over-charging conditions.

Battery casing: Made from ABS material of good corrosion prevention and high strength. High pressure sealing construction of the lid by hot melting.

Separator: European made PVC-SiO2 special micropore separator with high porosity and low resistance. It provides bigger storage space electrolyte.

Terminals: Inserted copper core lead-base terminal post has strong current capacity and corrosion resistance. The double sealing structure of terminals can effectively avoid any leakage.

Safety valve: Anti-explosion constant opening and closing low pressure valve with high reliability.

Post sealing: Built-in copper terminal post with high corrosion resistance and current capacity. The double sealing structure of the terminal post can prevent any leakage even if installed in horizontal position.

Connectors: Fully insulated flexible cable connectors bolt on to the terminal with easy access for electrical measurement of the cell.
